I am looking for an XS650 camshaft sprocket that I can fit onto my XS-2 camshaft. I would prefer a complete camshaft so I can check alignment marks. Any old worn out / scrap camshaft will do so long as the sprocket is fine. Anybody help me out ??? Dave.

Has anyone here ever swapped over a camshaft sprocket? If so what is the best way to do it? Is it heat shrunk on? I have a 1972 XS-2 which I am converting to XS650 engine internals (533 crank, pistons etc) but I believe the XS-2 camshaft is better than the later cams, so I would like to keep it...

For sale or trade, a complete set of 1972 Yamaha XS-2 front forks, yokes / trees, headlamp mountings / shrouds, complete steering damper assembly. Fork tubes are pitted but the rest is in good order. Sell or Swap, what have you got ??? Parts are in the UK. Dave.
