LATE UPDATE... Hey everyone ... The culprit was my bolts were too long ! I found the specs and the write up on this forum (I can't remember who wrote it some xs650 wizard) but the new bolts that came with my kit we're too long so I cut them shorter to size. So my clutch plate bolts were too...

No neutral when pullling in the clutch...

Ok the Allen screw I have is 45mm and the recommended length is 40mm....sooooo it probably is sticking out the backside of the clutch basket causing it to get stuck .... Also I think the reason the pressure plate is sticking out so much is the Phillips screw in the worm drive is cranked in...

No neutral when pullling in the clutch...

I don't think it's the kickstand kill switch at all as that has been long removed ...lol When I say it stalls I mean when I put it in gear even when the clutch lever is pulled in the bike lunges forward and stalls. On another note I never took the left cover off or the worm gear out ...

    Too Much Oil?

ahhhh shyte.... hmmmm ok well best to work on it now and get it ready for summer... so it looks like the clutch is wearing out and it has nothing to do with adding too much oil...? I've never worked on a clutch but I've replaced the cam chain sooo is it relatively the same difficulty ? or...

    Too Much Oil?

Ok so I noticed that when i looked at the sight glass for the oil level it looked dry. So I looked at the dip stick and the level on that looked OK. But I added some oil to check if that would change the level on the sight glass and it did....the level went up. I added about 2/3 of a quart...

Headlight fuse keeps blowing...what amp is correct?

I don't know what the wattage of the headlight is but its the original light... I think the only other part wired up to it is the tail light. I found that the ground wire was loose on the tail light and it was bouncing around. Hopefully thats what was causing the blown fuse?

Headlight fuse keeps blowing...what amp is correct?

Ok thanks...I think Im using a 16ga wire. Also, there was a loos ground wire on the tail light so when i hit bumps is was going on and off.... could this cause a short or blown fuse?
