Thanks Gary for the input. I did end up replacing coil, wires, caps and plugs. Also I cleaned out the tank, used the Kreem 3 part product to etch and seal. New petcock with positive "OFF" position, New fuel lines routed appropriately.... Yes I park over carpet because there's a seal or two...
