Great story of your bike, jaydett. Mine was similar only not taken care of as well. I have yet to crank mine as I am trying to get the wiring figured out, I think I am missing a piece. I did get to turn it over so at least its not seized. She hadn't run since 84. Jacky

I have a set I thought was rebuild able but the guy said it had too many missing pieces to replace. I Asked mikes for suggestion which led me to these. Know anyone that needs some spare parts? I'll have a few after this.

Can you tell from these pics if I have pressed the rivets far enough. Its my first time installing my own chain and I don't want to over tighten them. Any assistance would be great. Jacky

I picked up some carbs this week myself. Almost feel bad I'm leaving for vacation this weekend and won't be back until late next Sunday. Maybe I will get time after work one day.

Thanks Leo, I have been looking at different sets. I just wasn't sure about what lines to buy with them or if they are pretty much all the same. You nailed it by the way, its a 75.

I may one day to get that far with mine. I have to see if it will actually run first.
