    Loud Pipes Are Killing Motorcycles

Ha ha that's funny thanks for the laugh about old lady and about texting, well it's actually against the law to do so over here. You either text or drive but U can't do both.I have heard some bikes so loud that it would even make a new born baby jump out of it's pusher/pram and run away.LOL.What I...

    Loud Pipes Are Killing Motorcycles

Hi there,I am basing my statement on personal experiences here and I have had my share of fools while riding.Your'e probably right about the pissing off factor, but hey If that's all it's doing then what's the problem? What's wrong with toy runs? What I'm saying is that Loud pipes may as well piss...

    Loud Pipes Are Killing Motorcycles

+1 Capt Zoom,I am with U on this one. Who are these guys that try and tell us how it is out there when they most probably never ridden a bike.Yes motorcyles will continue to be involved in crashes and it's the fact that when a bike is involved it will be highlighted moreso.I am talking as a...

    Deadly Sins

I might just elaborate a bit more on my percentages and the luck side came one morning I woke up to a surgeon standing over my head.He asked me if I knew where I was and I said F knows. He told me a cage driver decided to take me out last night and he put me back together as best he could, minus a...

    Better drivers

I am also a heavy vehicle licence driver and one of the worst things that can happen is a blowout on the steer at 100kph.I had to pull my arm in quick or the rubber would have taken it off as easy as it took the mirror.I once had a driver pull out on me in peak hour traffic and the car ended up...

    Head issue?

If you have gone this far then you may as well pull the valves out to check the tollerances,it's not a drama.A machine shop in the area will bring it up to spick and it will also give you peace of mind knowing the head is ok.If the clearances are ok then you can lap and clean the valves up...

    Better drivers

Yep very true and there was definitely eye contact when this Bitch pulled out on me when I was riding 2 up on my Harley. After taking drastic measures to avoid a crash with her monster 4 x4 I let her have a piece of my mind when I caught up with her while she just carried on blissfully...

    Better drivers

I think that a motorcyclist driving a car is a better driver in a way that we are more aware of our surroundings especially motorcycles...Does anyone agree with me?

    My Bike Talks

How many riders know that their bike can talk?Well it's true they can and this is how They show the spark plug colour either light tan or dark indicating mixture Colour of oil, dark indicating blow by gasses or if the clutch is slipping a bit this will discolour the oil also as the plates are...

    Deadly Sins

I have said it before and I'll say it again "Loud pipes Save Lives" How many riders have been wiped out by a cager with the lame excuse "Oh I didn't see you"? So the next time you get booked for a noisy bike repeat this quote.

    Deadly Sins

If there was to be a list of deadly sins committed while riding a 650 yam I would start off by Rule#1..Never ride the bike with a dicey battery/charging system. #2..Never have to go to reserve when in the middle of the never never.

    Stainless Spokes

I wonder how many rebuilders overlook the spokes/tension on their aging bike? Unless the bike has mags of course,I found that by removing stock spokes and replacing them with stainless the handling of the bike (along with a couple of other mods) improved.Together with Acront alloy rims and...

    Definition of Fun

Ok that's the pain now for the fun.I was cleaning my bike one day and was using Armour All on the plastic and rubbers and tried some on my seat and took her for a ride.Well everything was OK until I gunned it off the lights and I ended up sliding to the back of the seat clinging to the bars and...
