Hi I've got a 1981 XS650 S imported from America. Came with no wiring loom, and no ignition unit. To replace the unit, I need to know it its a 6 or 8 point pick up. How can I tell which one I need, as I don't have the wiring harness, or the old unit? And does any one know if they are still...

On the last bobber I built (Harley) I had a problem with the chain stretching. Ive noticed that on pictures of more recent builds with Jap engines, some people have fitted tensioners onto the rigid frame. So, Im wondering if any of you have experience of this, & what tensioner you found worked...
