My 1972 xs650 chop is officially rip :( On my way home from the bike blessing in oak creek Wisconsin my bike caught fire..I jumped off he motorcycle and as I tumbled and rolled I got up and was still on fire...fellow riders helped put the fire out considering I was on fire and I suffered 2nd...

I would like to convert my kicker to a Harley style kicker pedal and I am not sure how to do this....I've seen other xs with this and I would like to do this with my 72 xs and I was curious if anybody knew how to do this and give me a play by play please :confused:

It is exactly what the title says...u read everywhere and see pics about a condenser yet on my 72 xs I see nothing that looks even close to that or anywhere near my coils...so I'm just confused if the po eliminated them or what's going on....any help I'm so lost and I honestly don't even know...

I just ordered a sportster front end but meanwhile I would like to eliminate my front disc and caliper to clean up my handler bars...I have a 72xs and I realized that for some reason my disc seems to be a part of the spacer for the rim? Can I remove the disc and fab a spacer in it's place to run...

Hi I am new to this and recently bought a 1972 xs650 and I'm planning to get a Harley narrow glide front end and I was curious if the narrow glides 1" steering stem would fit my steering stem which I am not even sure if my stem is a 7/8 or a 1" stem...any help and the more information I can get...

Hi I'm new to this community and new owner of a 1972 xs 650 and I would like to install a sportster front end like I've seen done before but my question is what size is my steering stem? Is it a 1" like all Harleys or is it 7/8? Any help would be useful towards buying and acquiring this front...

I wanna remove my side covers..but weather? Would it be okay to remove my side covers and leave everything exposed to the elements with out any problems? Sorry New xs owner and not sure and I'm hoping everybody here can help?:confused:

I just tinted my headlight yellow and can't see a thing at night and I was wondering if I can wire my headlight to run on high beams all day and night? Would that be or would it be to much for the electrical system or would it be okay?? :bike:
