    heres my build, started with a close to stock 73 tx650, chopped it and now onto the rebuild I built the hard tail and have done all of the mods, paint and upgrades myself FIRST BUILD!!

    vf500 alternator/ flywheel

    i have a vf500 alternator and flywheel, I haven't taken off the old stator, but im looking at the threads and it looks like the old stator has big threads in the center and the vf500 pma has a threaded center that looks bigger than the existing shaft, is there a insert for the vf500 or a trick...
