Good morning! I'm looking for an outlet or anyone that may have a set of 34mm extended forks tube's and be willing to ship to the U.K. As I can't seem to find anywhere that sells them. If anyone can help I'd be very grateful.

Happy new years!! Is it possible to put an 78' gearbox into an earlier 75' motor? (Both 447 motors) I know that Yamaha changed the shape of the gears for the box in 78' but will they match up with the crank and clutch on the 75'? I have the chance of a cheap gearbox that's in good order and...

Has anyone any ideas of how to hold the pistons at tdc while I'm installing the cam chain? They move every time I try. Besides that I cannot for the life of me get the thing timed up properly it's always 5° out

Hello! It's this the correct position for the cam's punched dot? The feeler gauge is just level with the bottom of the dot........ this is the second time I've split the motor to try and figure this out.......... although the slot (by eye) looks a little off centre to me.

Hello. I've nearly finished my motor rebuild, only the head to send away for valve seat cutting & a skim....... So my problem is finding TDC with the pistons so I can install the cam. I know the cam has marks on it to be aligned with the heads surface but how do I determine the TDC because...

Stripping the motor down, behind the kick start shaft I find this area that's been cut out...... (see picture) Anyone any idea what/ why this is/ was/ has been cut/ bodged?? Is that a pin that looks sheared?

[/URL][/IMG] hi, I've just fitted some new sleeves in the jugs but one is slightly higher than the other will this affect anything when rebuilding regarding the head gasket or cylinder head?[/URL][/IMG] they are both flat up to the shoulder in the jugs. The bottom end of the sleeves are level.
