Looking to see if this has been done before. I assume it has, as the fat fin cylinder isnt that old of a thing. Looks to me like you could just fill the area next to the cam chain tunnel with devcon or something and forge ahead.
im just going to replace the short springs with delrin and leave the long springs in it. after getting the whole thing apart it looks like they are around 5/8 in diameter
i prefer the side table feeds that are gear driven off of a motor underneath the table. i just think the bolt-on table feed devices are a little cheezy
no slight against hugh at all, but the xscharge adapter definately reminds me more of the mrriggs adapter than hughs setup (which is far easier to get and does the job just as well as the mrriggs adapter)
yes. punkskalar says he runs a completely solid clutch setup so i might do that myself. however, i have seen some pictures that have 3 solid bushings and 3 springs so i might try that.
i should note, that my engine is out of a 74 tx650 which i believe those springs are prone to breakage. just wanna keep from messing up my shiney new basket.

hey hugh, how did you hold onto the pressure plate when you machined it? i cant seem to think of a way to hold it in the 4 jaw lathe i have here at work. thoughts?
