Any ideas on fine tuning my carbs at idle. They seams to cut out after the engine idles for a while even though it revs and pulls when i want to. Is the mixture setting three turns out or so..

I had to buy two new petcocks from mikes. the old style as you know have the two vacuum fittings leading back to the intake manifold on each carb. Do I run a tube line from one to the other or not.

My old petcocks are vacuum and need rebuilding, but they will do for now. I have thought about getting new ones. Can i replace them and plug off the vacuum line back to the intake manifold..As i only see the no vacuum type for sale at mikes.

Stock 78, pemco ignition, rectifier from mike xs, LED turn signals, I would like to trash my voltage regulator and the safety relay. Both are big and ugly. Is there a electronic version... What does everybody use or do?. I don't see any of this stuff on your bobbers and chopper when it...

Model 1978, the voltage regulator and the safety relay are mechanical coils. If a guy wants to remove these, What can be the replacement. Is there a electronic part or alternative. I see the custom Bobbers and Choppers and they must be using some thing else.

I had my 78 carbs dipped. all parts are new. the bike runs great, but when i shut it off the left carb overflows. Floats are set at 22/24. I know i need new petcocks the old ones are vacuum and wont close all the way, so there is always fuel to the float bowl. Is the needle jet (pin) not...

I have just hooked up all the wires, head light, turn signals,brakes,coils,starter. I have good spark to new plugs. 11.6 volts almost evertwhere. I noticed the right hand coil started to get warm. I unhooked the battery as soon as i noticed it...any ideas...
