They were probably fully tightened then. Didn't use a TQ wrench... gonna use one this time. The whole project started because two of my clutch spring screws came loose and were banging around inside the case! Actually left a small circular groove on the inside of the case.

Thanks for the knowledge! I was racking my brain trying to figure out where it belonged and probably tried a few things that would look quite humorous to someone with more advanced maintenance expertise. :eek: Maybe I will send a note along to Mikes XS to let them know a better description...

I am trying to tighten up my clutch spring screws and am having difficulties. Every time I turn the screw the whole basket starts to rotate. Is this normal?
