got a new reg/rec from mikes but i dont have a wiring diagram for this i know most on here have radio shack stuff but does anyone have a diagram on how to wire the reg/rec up and maybe some ideas on where to mount it is well

i need to replace rectifier on 79 xs650 special when i look at mikes its a reg/rec and doesn;t look like it bolts right up as mine came off and does this eliminate my regulator? can i just order the rectifier only which is much cheaper?
