So much of the aluminium melted that had to pry the bikes apart to see if anything at all was salvageable. Nothing is even close to being usable. Have a Harley, was in the process of building, that looks even worse!

Completely agree with you guys! Haven't bought anything from him yet, but when had questions, he said no problem and answered them quickly! Hugh is great!

Old Harley had up-swept fishtail pipes. Didn't really matter if the window was open or not, I always seemed to feel better after clearing the plugs a few times or pretending it wouldn't idle!

Worked at the county landfills for better part of 15 years. Don't think you would believe what I have seen, perfectly good condition, thrown away! It can still bring tears to my eyes!! Was talked about for years and heard they finally started a recycle / re-use project.

Pre-1999 Harleys have 3/4" axles with Timken bearings. Newer Harleys have a 1" axle with sealed bearings. Not 100% sure what year switched to 1", but pre-'99 is 3/4".

Drove 2000 miles (from So Cal to MN) to pick up two xs650's. But was also going to MN to visit family.

Just got my first xs650 (actually 2) and probably could use some parts. Would rather donate, and hopefully it will help out. PM me your address. Take care of your daughter!!
