    Any place that has industrial chains and gears will have half links They are quite common used them all the time when I was young and too poor to replace a streched chain and taking out a link was too much They do exist

    '80 xs650 rear disc brake conversion

    I did it on my 1974 Sreet Tracker.... pictures in another thread I purchased a wrecked special so I used the swing arm etc from it Machined up 2 half round mild steel spacers bolted them to an old master cylinder to get spacing right installed the brake pedal and rod to the master...

    I did the same humming and hawing over the headlight vs plate..... finally thought the number plate looked too much like a racer for me Headlight is Genuine replacement fro XS 650 Direct Your build looks perfect I have some stuff I did well and some I would like to do again regards paul
