I removed the Petcock to clean the tank out and used a little gasket maker to seal it up but its leaking. Whats the best plan of action to get this to seal I can't find the fiber gaskets that were on there will the o-ring seal it up with out one? It looks to be seeping around the edges.

I am building a seat and was going to rivet 2 pieces of leather to the pan one on top and one on bottom and then sew the seam together. Whats the best glue to bond leather to metal since gravity will be against the bottom? Also should I glue the top to the foam? Thanks for any help, Nick
