Just got my first bike up and running, did not run when I bought it, so my question is it seems to be extreamly hot. Cylenders, heads everything. What temp should I be running at? Is it normal for fiberglass wrap to smoke everytime you ride the bike? Thanks for any input. Dave

got my bike sarted back up with the pwk carbs, only problem is that it wont idle down almost like the throttle is wide open. I had to shut it down because I didnt want to blow it up, where do I start, the idle screw i burried then backed out 1.5 turns should I go more? please help

just got my carbs, put them on and all was good. started tinkering with idle and now I cant get them back to where they were originally set. does anyone know where the screw should be set and which jet should be used on a 78' special. Thanks a ton

Putting my bike back together and installed the clutch cable and side cover last night. I never messed with the clutch itself, but it won't seem to engage when I pull the lever. There is tension, I just don't know much about them, anything simple to look for first? Thank-you

I bought some needle bearings for my dreading, do I need to beat the bearing on to the lower tree? Just seems real tight. Thanks

What if I can't get the hole to line up to the tubes on the top of the engine. One is the other I can't seem to get

The 2 bolts on top of the heads that hold down the 2 tubes have holes in them. What if the holes don't run in line with the tubes? I just cant seem to get the on lines up? Thanks

I have eliminated all wiring except the pamco ignition, and the permanent magnet alternator, headlight and tail light. I cant seem to find the wires for the starter though. There is a black wire coming from it, but where would the starter selenoid be, and how do I wire it? Thanks
