I have been pondering changing the front from the 19" to an 18" (Excel) on my 77 project bike. Any pros or cons outside of respoking and truing (something I like to do). The only thing I can see is the additional weight on the front end (bias shift) and subsequent change in rake and trail.

Has anyone tried the Ikon 7610-1348 shocks? I was always partial to the Koni's back in the 70's. I wonder how these stack up. Thanks, Gary
