17"rear mag

was going to fit a 18"x2.15(xs400)rear onto my next project,but at a recent swap meet came across a xs1100 rear wheel 17x2.50 the big problem is that the xs11 is shaft drive,any one ever converted one to a sprocket,I realise this is going to to be a bit of job,intrestling the bit that bolts to the wheel via cush/drive is the same stud patern as a 650 sprocket,any idea's

I have no clue about fit up , but i'm certainly interested in finding out how you will get this to work. Hey ,if this works out, take some pics of the fabricating process, we could all benifit from it..Lots of tires to choose from with using a 17. Good luck.
