Trade - 1972 XS2 Engine for Trade.

Gday, new member here, first time I have posted but I have been doing a lot of research on this forum. It is an invaluable resource for someone like me starting out with an XS.

I though it would be a good idea to offer a trade, for the sake of giving any restorers out there a chance I am willing to trade my '72 XS2 engine for a '74 or newer engine.

The motor I have is siezed but has some slight movement, it is also missing the left side cover but some with a tested charging system.
It was a spare motor for a side car rig and has had an oil cooler attached to the oil feed for the head.

The only catch is I am located in Australia.

Just thought I would post this up to see if there is any interest.

Sure did. It went to a bloke who was restoring an XS2 with his son and had been looking for a genuine motor for some time.

Ahh good to hear! It's definitely hard finding specific parts in Australia.
