Last mock up
I put the frame, swing arm, fenders, struts, spacers... And every little thing in for powder coat last Thursday.
Finally got around to rebuilding the engine a couple of weekends ago... Every ring, gasket, and seal brand new. Gonna spray the barrels while I wait for my powder stuff to come back

Got around to painting my engine this week, been busy working on other guys bikes since last post..
Masked it up, used quite a few cans of degreaser, and gave it two coats of good black engine enamel. Surface isn't exactly perfectly smooth, but I like it anyways.

Thanks carbon!

My stuff came back from the powder coater, got my cousin around straight away to help out with engine mounting.
Man that paint! Love powder coating

took approximately a forever to get my bushings, pipe, and swing arm bolt in..
Will finish the roller in a day or so

Had a bit of spare time up my sleeve today, thought I'd take a look at putting the rear end together while I wait for the powder guys to find my triple trees...

Thanks guys
Spent a bit more time on assembly today, but got stuck on the rear wheel thanks to the powder coat making everything that much thicker...

Little bit more to do before I start on electronics, but I'm not far off finished now woo!

After a few attempts at different electronics boxes, I finally made one that fits into the frame nice and snug.
Wired everything up, kicked her over, tuned the carbs...
My cousin gave me some sick dirt bike foot rests that fit right into the stock arms.
about 95%done now

Just muffler clamps, brake lights, clutch cable, bleed front brake

Thanks carbon and jd
I can't wait to ride her! Hopefully by the end of the weekend I can take her up the road and back at least...

Window bars just didn't sit right with me in the end, kept looking at it like "am I really just settling with these cause of $$?"
So I bought some new drag bars to accentuate that stocky feel my bike has, and oh man what a good decision that was.

They completely change the look and feel, it's more like riding a hunchback now.
The old ones are getting good use on another project

finally finished all my wiring today too, for now at least. Cleaned it all up at the front by throwing it under the neck

Got a new magura master cylinder, ss braided hose but bought the wrong banjo bolt to go straight to caliper (idiot!), new clutch perch installed, got my nickel plated chain on BLING

Mufflers are still a bit loose, Havta think of something for those..

Yeah, when I first saw the frame I was thinking to myself that it was wrong. The more and more I look at it, I think it looks way better than the intended positioning of the tubes. Good job!!
