XS650 $50 MC
Hi
I bought this thinking to fix it up for the wife, and I just don't I'd have time. Too busy and I already have an MC to ride.
Bike was bought not running, it did run several years ago. Has a clean title.
Have a repair manual for it.
Have printed out loads of info on electrical systems (newer modified ones).
The bad:
The electrical harness burnt up somewhat, I cut it out and put together a "running" wiring setup to see if it would fire. It did a little, but the carbs need rebuilt. Bike does have some compression.
The starter works, but the pinion gear needs to be replaced (starter runs, turns over the bike, but kicks out)
Mufflers are rusted away.
The good:
New (good) front tire, good back tire.
Everything stock is there, except one side cover is missing (never got it with the bike)
No reasonable offer refused. It's just taking up space.
