For Sale - 1979 XS650 Special

Hi all.

I'm selling my '79 XS650 Special. I just got it, my first bike actually, but it needs some work and I have no experience working on motorcycles.

It runs, but sometimes the choke needs to stay on for you to run. I don't know how to fix it...and in NYC, I don't have the room to learn and work on it.

$2000 OBO. New York, NY. Still has original tools under the seat.
Standard everything, nothing added.

Awesome bike, I had the same trouble with my 1983 XS650, turned out that I wasn't allowing it to warm up probably, onced warmed uo you should be able to shut choke off.

Yeah, anyone with motorcycle knowhow - which is most of this forum - can probably do a lot with this bike.
