1980 ignition pickup wire color?

The 3 wires coming from my ignition pickup are black grey and orange, at the connector that ties them to the ignition box, the wires are R/W G/W B/W, well I'm sure black goes to black, but I pulled the 3 wires out of the 3 connector and didnt take note of where the orange and grey went. Does orange go to R/W, grey to G/W? Or vise versa? All the diagrams I can find show R/W G/W B/W from the pick up all the way to the ignition box. If one has any ideas or knows I would really appreciate it.

There it is, thanks guys. I'm planning on running the 5th diagram from the top down. Basically all stock. I am planning on just using an on/off switch in place of the key however, will this cause any problems?

I'd use a switch with a rating higher than the main fuse rating (20A). It'll be stamped on the switch somewhere. Then you should be okay.

Thanks for posting this, everytime I hook the wiring harness back up I forget which is which for the pick up.
