I have a 1980 special im tearing down for a build. im keeping frame, motor, tank and front end everthing else is up for grabs. let me know what you need and make an offer.
all parts are stock and good shape off running bike with 28,000 miles. carbs are vm34.

what wheels does it have? Im looking for an 18 in rear spoke/drum wheel...I believe yours may be the mags with disc brakes...just checking.

Its drum with spoke, I think its a 16 though. sorry im new to xs's, i'll have to check size.

Do you have a speedo and is it in kph? If so would it fit an 81 special?
