I've been holding off on this ad for a while now in hopes that I can find the time to finish but it looks like it wont happen... It started out as a bobber and after riding it for a summer I decided to go the cafe route. All last winter I worked on it and suddenly stopped progression this spring. Its been sitting collecting dust since then.
It has:
-Pamco ignition from Mike's
-Perm magnet stuff from Hugh and rotor from a local guy
-All the components to make it points from GGary
-Thruxton tail section
-Brand new never seen the road 2004 Triumph rear shocks
-Extra spark plugs
-Stock gas tank was sanded down bare, sealed and clear coated
to get that brushed look
-Stock 34 carbs
-VM34s that I opted to use when I was riding it
-Clip ons I bought from a shop in WI
What it needs:
-New fuel valve
-Rear sets to complete the cafe look
-Possibly a new capacitor
-Possibly a shorter throttle cable
- Bolt the tail section and tank down
** Thats all I can think of for now
Good/Bad???
-Kick start only
-No mirrors
-Only head lights, tail and brake lights.
-No keys... Stuff to make it vroom is hidden
-No speedo or tach
The motor ran great for sitting. The only issue was an oil leak coming from the left side of the head. I never got to tune the carbs all that well. It ran great with no flat spots but when I got to a stop light it would sneeze and almost cut out. Never figured it out. Come on by, take a look and make an offer. I may just take it.
