1984 Heritage Special gas tank removal/reinstallation

sounds reasonable to me ! anyone ever use Permatex's tank repair ?????
I never touched it ..... EVER it must be new or very expensive LOL !

It was only $7 at my local auto parts store. I will say it dried rock-hard after about an hour. The packaging says machinable after 5hrs, and full cure in 24hrs. I only applied it to one small area for now to test it out. I am going to attempt to pick at it tonight to see how tough it is and if my surface prep was sufficient.
