20 things your kids will never learn or understand!!

I had to cross US-66(known as 11th street) to get to Lindburg Elementry School in Tulsa OK. Smoke holes at every back door of my Jr High and High schools. The family TV was black and white in a dark case. It took a while before the picture came on after turning it on. I can recall being woke up early by Mom to watch the Mercury and Gemini mission launches.
 
Yup, those old B&W TVs were all we needed ,only got two or three stations anyway . I miss the indian head test pattern , that little white dot when you shut them off , the warm up time , aiming the rabbit ears ....... never had a colour TV until around 1980, thats when they got cable where we were then we moved out to the sticks right after so it was back to 2 stations again .
