2013 xs650 build off bikes

The bag trick my work for some tires. All I did was waste a good trash bag. Trying to mount an me 880 metzler on 16 no way a bag would work or the tire irons. Luckey a guy that lives up the street has a tire machine and mounted it for free. Wish I had Know that it was a bitch getting the old one off. All the builds look great so far.

My angle grinder had my old tire off in seconds lol

That plastic bag method for the tires is where it's at. I would of saved so many busted knuckles and scratched up rims. This video should be in the tech section.

Raked my neck tonight. Still need to do all of the finish welding but I'm gonna make sure my tank fits and that this is the actual degree I want to end at (its slightly skewed due to there being no bearings in the neck) the front of the frame should go up a couple inches. Here's a couple pics....

Sorry it's been awhile since I have made any real updates on the bike. We finally got her mechanics all figured out, running perfectly on both cylinders, and tuned properly.

I've been having some fun just driving her around town. Got around 80 miles clocked in Sunday while it was around 35-40 degrees outside :bike:

Hope you enjoy some shots I took of her while taking a short break.

In the few weeks to come I'm going to just sit back and enjoy her as is....then as I've said previously...I'll get to work on her frame :D

My buddy gave me a narrow Frisco sporty tank and fender that he wasn't going to use so I threw them on the "funk smuggler" for a visual... Pretty stoked with the lines... My actual tank will be here Friday (standard sporty) but I couldn't wait to see the roller with a tank and fender....

I wonder how rabbit ears handle?
they look comfee

They handle ok but hope you don't have to push ever that sucks. I worked on a ironhead that had them and it was a pain the ass to move around in the shop and I would hate to have a roadside brakedown with them.
