3 Small Wiring questions.

Rewiring an 82 w/ electronic ignition using this diagram.

1. The two wires coming off of my coil are black and yellow, not red and orange. WHich one goes to the kill switch and which one goes to the Orange on the 7 wire ignitor box? Does it matter?

2. The three wires coming off of the ignition pickup are orange gray and black not R/W, G/W, and B/W. Can anyone ID which is which?

3. On my 7 wire ignitor box the black w/ white tracer gets capped, correct?

1. There is no polarity for the coil wires. You can connect either way.

2. Pick-up Black...........black/white
Orange.........red/white
Gray.............green/white

3. Yes, the black/white was the interlock feature from the sidestand relay, and is not needed.

On the ignitor box my red has a white tracer. This goes to the ignition coil and the white with red tracer goes to the orange on the pickup coil, correct?
