Hi,
Just rebuilding and lowering my XS650. I originally thought they were 35 and order Hugh's hand built lowering drop kit but turns out they were 34. I lathed it down .4mm and it now fits.
However ordered some new seals whilst they were apart. The seals are 34 x 46 x 10.5mm.
I just want to know I pulled the old seals out however there is a metal seat that is in the lower tube. Does this come out? And my seals sit over the tube lip a little and don't slip in easy. Is this normal and will it go in if I use a fork seal driver.
