35mm harley fork tubes

this may be a dumb question and ive searched but does any one know if 35mm Harley fork tubes will fit 81 xs 35 mm fork lowers
and work with xs triple trees

No. The top of the tubes are tapered where they go up in the upper tree. The XS tubes are straight.
Why try Harley tubes when you can get new tubes made to fit the XS lowers?

I wanna loose my springer forks , I can get a set of new 6 over Harley tubes ( which I need 6 over ) for like 80$

Franks Engineering, has been building fork tube for ever. Mike's has longer tubes too.

yea wasn't looking to spend over a 100 spot in case I didn't like it

Why couldn't you run the tubes in and tighten the trees up? You'd have the tapered ends sticking out the top with the caps but couldn't it be done?

I guess so but then he would lose an inch or so of the 6 inches he claims to need.
Give it a try, it might work.
