'71 XS1-B Fork Disassembling Help

Try to capitalize on quarantine, and get these forks in order... looks like the allen bolt on the bottom of the fork seen on later models is not there... so I peeked into the tube to see what appears to be a 4mm or so allen head holding the damper in place. Can anyone confirm process of getting tube out so I can change seals?

The chrome outer nut that covers the fork seal is the key.
