72' in Blue

Photo request On the 650 forum I commented on a fellows 72' project he recently obtained....in blue paint.... goofy ape hangers and want to be chopper fork tubes.... I mentioned that I've seen two Xs2' in blue and white.... think even an advertisement from the period.... can anyone provide a photo ?

I'm not aware of any factory blue paint scheme for the 1972 model XS2.
There were three main factory paint schemes:

• Red with White (USA etc)
• Red with Black (Oceania, Europe etc)
• Pearl Yellow Gold & Black (Oceania, Europe etc)

(A few countries had all three).
In Australia there was also a very limited number of black XS2 late in the scene although it doesn't appear in any brochures.
