I found a 1972 nearby and it had a fiberglass body I've never seen. Dude said it called a tracer body. Caught my attention, said it was running two years ago. The price is decent I was just wondering if you guys could let me know if its worth messing with and of any value? Thanks guys

Perhaps he meant a TRACY body? a semi popular custom piece from back in the day.

This is probably as much info as can be found in one place about tracy bodies

The original proprietor of Omars is rumoured to be producing a tracy - hurricane "clone" for the XS650.

There is a middling to good chance ethanol fuel will (or already has) destroyed the fiberglass tank. The resin dissolves and ends up in the carbs. Not much fun in that......

I believe there was a writeup on Tracer bodies on XScafedotcom.wordpress.com.

That's my old bike,

You can seal the tank as I did, you don't get any muck through then, though I did it once and it didn't work, when I took the carbs off it looked like somebody had poured honey down the inlet tracks,
