These 750 pistons and cylinders were on my '78 Special when I bought it this spring. They will fit any 447 engine. I gave the cylinders a light hone with a 3" ball hone. The pistons measure out to 79.98 mm and are nicely tight in the bores (I can barely slide a 0.0015" feeler gage between the piston skirt and the cylinder wall).
The pistons have Yamaha and 80 cast inside. As best as we can tell, TX750 top and 2nd rings will fit. The oil ring is an odd one piece design, but there may be 3 piece designs available to fit. See: http://www.xs650.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42027
The cylinders have very very light vertical scoring - I can just barely catch it with my fingernail - they should respond to honing if you want to try re-fitting the original pistons. Otherwise, the sleeve has plenty of meat for a rebore.
I will throw in the main and pilot jets that were in the bike. The carb needles were stock and in stock position.
$250 shipped to the lower 48.
