thats ...ok we all take what we feel is relevant from others posts.

I'm not convinced the problem lies with the carburettor but with so little information its a crapshoot to advise to be honest.
Its a pity you haven't another xs650 owner nearby you could get some help from .Two heads are always better than one in these cases .......unless they drink all your beer and eat all your sarnies

yes that thread is just a reiteration of Joe Minton's article 'Mintons mods'
I already supplied a link to that.... a few posts back (#14 ) but I think the po has decided that the problem can only be a carburation issue.
