a good replacement for the BS34's if you aren't using the stock air boxes, with a different jets and a little tuning, are the CVK's from an EX500. You can usually find them pretty cheap on ebay.

You should talk to Michael Morse at 650 Central , he will give you the straight dope on his replacement carbs and make jet changes based on your bike---tim

650 central is very over priced for replacement carbs.

You can buy some used up BS34's for $100 plus and have oldskool rebuild them for $250 and be done. MMM may be pricy but they will work. If your bike is not running or running poorly and the season is quickly coming to an end , what is the price for enjoying some good rides. Carbs, $350-$500 , good riding, priceless------tim
