Up for sale is a complete set of front forks off of a '81 HS.
The original bearing races are there, but I would recommend buying new aftermarket bearings. I believe that I have all the ball bearings in there, but I dropped a few during removal and I can't be sure I found them all.
PO put on some aftermarket grips that will need to be replaced. PO also applied the yellow paint you see, and may have shot some black on the grips and controls. I can send more detailed pics if need be.
$150+actual shipping cost. Local pickup preferred.
Swing-arm off of same bike:
Total mess. I don't want any money for this other than cost of shipping and $5 for handling. I am willing to cut more material off to lessen shipping charges.
The P.O. hard-tailed from the frame down to the swing-arm, which he also extended. I can't recommend actually using the swing-arm as is, because I don't know what kind of welder the P.O. was. I'm just putting this on here in case someone can use some or all of it for whatever project you're working on. It goes to the scrapyard in a week or two if no takers here.
