For Sale - 81 XS650 Special Project

Up for sale is my 81 Special project. Have no time to work on it as I'm a daddy and have no garage at my apartment, so its just sitting in my folks garage. I have a clean title in hand. The bike has 7000 original miles.

Its pretty much been torn down to a roller. Frame has been hacked brackets taken off and holes drilled for a wassell tank. Have most of the stock parts as well as some arftermarket stuff. Put about 1k miles on it summer 2013 before I started tearing it down in the winter, worked on it last spring and just havent had the time to put into it.

Looking to get 800 for the lot but might be willing to part it out depending on what kinda requests i get, and am open to offers. The bike is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Ninskrillz,

What do you mean by "the frame has been hacked brackets taken off". Has the frame actually been cut? Might be interested as long as the basic frame is still intact.

Just to be clear, I am fine with the brackets being cut, just wondering if the original structural aspects of the frame have been modified (cut).

Just brackets and holes on the backbone for bungs for the wassell tank. Still has the original seat rails and loop and other parts of the frame.
