adaptor for xs1 drum brake

i saw this bike on ebay where the guy had adapted a xs1 brake to a 16inch rim then mounted it on 35mm forks. wondered how he did this short of welding that little stud on the tube, then i came across a picture of this adaptor. looks like it was made for the job and was a yamaha part. can anybody tell me if this is still available from yamaha or does anyone else make it? thanks in advance.

Yes, it is a factory part, used to anchor the drum hub on the retro-ed SR500 and 400 sold in some markets. The part probably isn't available from Yamaha here but may be from an overseas dealer. MotoLanna also makes one .....

a bike im working on for a friend wants a 71 drum on his stock 1980 front end. This bracket will make that happen?

i'll assume you are referring to the previous thread on the sr 400 bracket. if so great. thanks again for the help. that's even more reassuring.
