Adjusting carbs to hardtail from stock

Hi, just hardtailed my 80 Xs... Any advice on adjusting my carbs from the air box to pods?!!!

Is this a joke? What does installing a hard tail have to do with carb adjustment?

After hardtailing an XS, the best way to adjust the carbs is to add rotary fluid to the tire girders.

no joke at all. i was drunk when i wrote the post. Let me rephrase my problem. i just switched from the stock air box to air filters (pods) when i hardtailed my bike. turned it on and it had no power and smoke out of my right carb. the bike was running fine before the modification. before i mess with any screws i thought i'd see if i could get some feedback. thanks for your guys replys

Might need to change the radiator hose too.

I had the same problem when I went from hardtail to a cafe swingarm, turned out to be muffler bearings.

What you need to do is change the winter air in your tires to some nice fresh summer air.
