almost done first build any opinions?

Ok ive got my bike almost done some small stuff left When i got this bike it was in boxes just a frame and wheels. I really enjoyed learning about the xs's this one is my first one And so far i love it. any suggestions or opinions would be highly appreciated thanks.

Just looks like a thin rod or thick wire to me cause it has kinks in it . I guess if you had a cable you would have to have a spring on the brake peddle ?

sry took so long no its a long steel rod we just bent it till it fit good. works great

I wish i had front brakes but the guy before me smoothed the forks down so no caliper mounts its hard to get used to

I guess you could probably find a set with the tabs still on them and sell your smooth ones to one of the no brakes guys.

the sad thing is the guy i got it from gave me the caliper and rotor but no where to mount it.

You are never really finished building a bike as long as you own it. You are allowed to change it . Having the caliper and rotor just makes it easier.

that reminds me im gonna post a video in a minute of it starting the starter sound horrible and it whines real bad any suggestions would help. ill put it under a new post

I would delete the starter and go kick only.
Also tilt your light up a bit

yeah sry i was working on some wiring at the moment and forgot to tilt light back up before pic lol
