Its been rainy and wet here in the northeast these past couple of weeks so I haven't had much of a chance to ride. I finally said to hell with it and went for a short ride last night and found another reason to simplify your wiring. 
Last year when I rode at night I could barely see ten feet in front of the bike and the lighting quality was very bad we're talking scary bad 
but last night the light was brighter than I would have expected. The only thing I did to my stock heritage special is simplify the wiring and a one piece clutch push rod along with a bunch of seals and sump filter ... I could actually SEE where I was going and what was in front of me
