I just pulled my front wheel to put in hughs speedo delete. The part to be replaced came out easy, however there appears to be two notches inside the original speedo part that snug into two raised pieces that sit above the bearing. Do I need to yank this out cause the delete is definently not going in snug like it should. Probably confusing post I'm sure, I'll be up awhile.

Update, if it helps anybody. You pull the dust seal and the speedo mounting tabs. However, the seal took doing to get out and I believe there is a small metal ring goes underneath it. Not sure if it needs to go back in but it's bent to from getting the seal out. Yes, I'm that guy!
