Anyone have a front caliper to fit 81 xs650

got this bike for a chopper project, and pulled the caliper to paint and rebuild but the piston was seized inside caliper.....everything is very pitted. Does anyone have a complete caliper that will fit an 81 xs650 for a resonable price???

You can rebuild the one you have. Pistons and kits can be bought from Ebay, Mike's, 650central. I found the ones I bought on Ebay.

I already have a rebuild kit, but the caliper itself is all pitted in the piston bore

Look on E-bay.
I got mine in like new condition w/bracket shipped to my door for under $25.
Other models fit also, can't remember for sure but I believe the XS750 and early XS1100 fit...as well as XS 400 that have the 10.5" disc.

The XS 750 is they way to go because they are identical and seem to be cheaper because they are not part of the 650 craze of the last few years.

Also look here in the classified section under PARTSPARTSPARTS submitted by Daddyg cycles they have one for you right now.
