Anyone come across a bad manual petcock (style as shown in pic)? Squeaks when turned and stiffer than same petcock on other side. Only 2 years old and used regularly (turned off when bike is off). Thanks in advance

I know the stock ones need an occasional cleaning and lubing to work well (turn easy). I don't see why aftermarket ones would be any different. My near 40 year old originals turn smooth as silk, probably because I've done that.

I have 2 of the manual petcocks, that Mikesxs sells. I have been using them for about 10 years now. Every 2 or 3 years, they get really difficult to turn.
When that happens, I shoot some WD40 into each petcock, and then they are super smooth once again. I've never taken them apart.

Thanks guys. Im gonna yank fuel line off to make sure everything is flowing as it should and flush with wd40 as well.
