Yup. Locally, it's Uncle Henry's. Only thing worse than trying to find an actual deal in their book/on their site is responding to all the dipwads that try to scam you when YOU post an honest, forthright item at a fair price.
Most 'barn find' adverts placed in the UK are by companies that send their - uhm - scouts might be a polite word over to the USA to buy up old sickles and send them over here by the containerload. Where the prices are much higher. Reflecting the cost of shipping plus presumably a very healthy margin. Looking at their websites you can't help wondering what the scrofulous POS on offer would fetch in W Virginia or Pennsylvania or wherever?
Now that's funny, I don't care who you are!
