Made From free pallets. Even the base was pallets. Made something similar for garage years ago, but used 6X6's ripped in half and then glued up with them on edge. Nice solid bench. If those pallets are like many and hard wood should be nice a solid!

It’s especially solid lag bolted to the wall. Lol and like I said, the best part of this whole project was the material costs. All I have is a bottle of glue.

Thanks guys, being retired and smack in the middle of winter kinda helped with the timing, plus like I said, the struggling without a vise part was getting to me

I actually cleaned and went over a set of carbs yesterday and I was surprised to have disassembled, cleaned, checked and reassembled in one day! That being said while waiting on some other parts to come in I started on a set of these for the youngest son.0ED316E5-47F1-48B4-A032-CCE447DBA019.jpeghere’s the whole set, well it will be…..34CD131D-6E7F-4F98-ABD6-E9D7AF97B3A4.jpeg

I'm sure he'll never forget that. My dad built the timber frame house I was raised in and used to finish cabinets part-time. We would submit wooden sword designs to him and he would make them in his shop. We made a chessboard together as well. Great memories!
