Have you found already a new air compressor? I know myself that it's difficult to find a new one which isn't too expensive. I gave it up and used air-compressor rentals instead, because it was easier to work with that. Maybe this would be an option for you as well? It has some advantages, like saving space haha*

The big thing with the Quincy is it has a 50,000 hour motor. Most others including IR have a 5,000 hour motor. Plus Quincy has a 2 year warranty that extends to 5 years if you use there maintenance kit. I think it's worth the few hundred extra. Hopefully within a couple weeks I will be ordering one.

Ditto on the Quincy's #B or any of the Champion Compressors Two stage 5 to 7.5 HP or older Curtis iron compressors

Well it took me longer than I wanted but I finally ordered my new Quincy last night. Can't wait until it gets here. 3-4 weeks for delivery.
